This archival collection contains the documents of the police for the region of Bouches-du-Rhône in France the years between 1800 and 1948. The documents are relating to the organisation of the police (function, recruitment, general correspondence), to the police personnel (dossiers of the personnel), to police reports and correspondence, to the administration of the police and to immigration and naturalization of foreigners in France.
