The “Registri di classificazione” were the registers in which the personal information of the students of all the courses of the “Accademia” were reported. The courses of “Accademia” could be annual, semiannual or organized in Sunday schools. They were: “scuola preparatoria” (a sort of today’s middle school), nautical sciences (in different sections), commerce (in different sections), shipbuilding and drawing. Furthermore, the school provided, on a non-regular basis courses of Greek language and “contabilità camerale” (State accounting).
As for the personal information, these registers provide for every student: full name, religious affiliation, place of birth/geographical origin, name of the father, profession of the father, marks for school subjects, behavior, quality of progress in studying, various kinds of annotations (eg. grants).
