Each “libreta” (seaman’s book) is a personal document that contains information about the military situation of the men (related with the Inscripcion Marítima or Seamen's Register) but also about embarkations, personal data and so on. They preserve around 1400 registers, organised in an alphabetical order. Unfortunately, most of them were issued after 1920, so this source was not used for the purposes of SeaLiT
