Although obviously outdated and markedly oriented in offering an exclusively Italian narration of the evolution of the Austrian Lloyd navigation company (Lloyd Triestino after the First World War) this book rapresents an important source for a general reconstruction of the company's history. The amount of data and the quality of the information provided by the authors allow researcher to fill some of the gaps caused by the documentary loss of extensive parts of the Austrian Lloyd's archives.
